County TYRONE

Page  11  of   1

Crockanboy Hill, Greencastle

SITUATED ON PRIVATE LAND

The land is private land but the local farmer does not mind people on his land as long as the gates are closed and no rubbish is left behind. (See note below regarding current access restrictions)

There are no available co-ordinates for this site as it has not been visited personally. Details and photographs have been kindly provided by Jennifer Donnelly, A.O.H County Board Secretary.

The Mass Rock can be seen from the main Green Road just off the Mullydoo Road in Greencastle, Omagh, county Tyrone. Access to the Massrock is up two very steep hills and through a rushy field.

Directions to Massrock are as follows: Take the main Cookstown to Omagh Road (A505) then take B46 Road to Greencastle. Go up the road for 3-4 mile and follow signs from the crossroads. There is limited parking near the site.
